December was a very busy month with Christmas parties scheduled for kids and adults along with an Early New Year's Eve party with dinner and music. The "Wagon of Joy" donated by Bob Hackney made several trips throughout the Social Quarters and we enjoyed a special Sunday afternoon of music by Nashville recording artist John Riggins. I want to thank Jeff Burroughs for coordinating that event. Jeff along with several anonymous donors covered all the cost for his appearance.
Information about our January events along with sign up sheets are posted on the bulletin board.
Effective January 1st there will be change in our Social Quarters credit card policy. Based upon a recommendation from the Audit Committee to the Board of Officers, credit cards will no longer be accepted for tabs under $20 and credit cards will only be run for the amount of the tab plus gratuity. If yourr tab is under $20 or you want cash back, the ATM machine is available for your convenience. These changes were approved by membership at the December 28th LOOM meeting. Questions regarding these changes can be directed to myself or any member of the Board of Officers.
I would like to also remind/request everyone to show their membership card to the bartenders to see before ordering products in the Social Quarters, and if asked to show your card - remember that it is a requirement to do so.
Finally as we close the old year and start a new year, I hope everyone can reflect back and remember the many fun times we all shared together in 2019. Even though we have differences at times we still gather together over and over again because this is a special place and we all share a common goal to help and support Mooseheart and Moosehaven. May we all share man wonderful times together in 2020.
Happy New Year
